Impatient and foolhardy, Verin may not have the personality to rise the ranks of the police force, but as a member of the Hunter Division, that doesn’t matter as she’s happy with what she does best: pursuits and takedowns!
Indifferent to humanity itself, Verin is fascinated in their technology, even the ‘useless junk’!
Preferring paperwork over fieldwork and with a skinny but lithe physique, Zaebos is the opposite of Verin in many ways.
Zaebos is a former Hunter, willingly changing to office work after an incident he prefers not to bring up.
He and Verin are on excellent terms, in part due to them being Hunter partners when he was active in the field.
A follower of The Order Of The Incorporeus, Amitiel displayed a skill for charismatic persuasion. Noticing this, his superiors assigned him as a street preacher, a task that he quickly succeeds in, even inadvertently convincing a group of five angels to attack a demon in the vicinity.
Some choice words from Zaebos, however, resonate with him, reminding him of his early days as a novice, striking a chord with whom he once was. Perhaps there is still hope for him yet.
Qaspiel is an amateur abstract geometric artist working in manual labour to pay the bills. Often seen frequenting, and getting into disagreements with the owner of her favourite art store.
Due to the precise nature of the brush strokes of her art style, she is never truly satisfied with her paintings, often scrapping it entirely. Unfortunately, this means she goes through a lot of paper and canvases and wasting a good chunk of her wages.
Dr. Ernest Neumann
New to time travel, Dr. Neumann is strangely oblivious to the surreality of the historical meeting of human and demon for the first time in over 1000 years.
Endlessly curious about this new and unfamiliar ‘alien’ Earth, Neumann often fails to see the seriousness of the situation.
Lucifer is the scarred and aging former Hunter now promoted to the Chief of Durum Terrae Police Force.
Only showing two moods, world-weary and angry, actually displays great patience and tolerance when fighting the uphill struggle of policing the city with a small task force, but he does not always approve of Verin’s impatient, unorthodox style of policing.
Melchom is the partner in crime of Angul, both working for the crime boss Balaam. Melchom is usually the one who does the talking (with his weapon of choice being a switchblade), while Angul is the ‘hired muscle’.
Melchom is slight of build, gaunt, and with sunken eyes (features which he tries to hide with a scarf and slightly oversized suit), who speaks with a grating, raspy voice, and works well with Angul at threatening businesses and residents alike to get Balaam's way.
Karael is the energetic ‘President’ of ‘The Verin Fan Club’ (membership: 1).
To Verin’s bafflement, Karael, despite being an angel, is fascinated by demons, especially their unique anatomical aspects. This interest unfortunately means that she doesn’t appear to have many, if any, friends, instead devoting her time to admiring her favourite Hunter.
Karael is easily identified by her unique dress sense which consists of a red hoodie topped with imitation horns, and her homemade fake wings.
